All rides by appointment Maximum 10 trail riders per ride. We provide helmets.
Proper footwear - hard soled shoe or boot with a heel sufficient to prevent your foot from sliding through the stirrups.
We go by the level of the least experienced rider, walking the entire ride, more experienced riders can jog & lope as well where permitted, when everyone is at the same level. Safety 1st!
You are in control of the horse and it will go where you tell it to, if you do not, it will choose its own way. Remember horses, horses are flight animals, meaning if startled they will run first, ask questions later! Always pay attention on a horse.
You can ride, drive or learn to do both on Windsong horses of varying experience levels. Lessons available for Basic Trail Riding or Learning to Drive horses.
There are hundreds of acres of trails to explore, with hills and streams, forests, fields, and quiet roads with some groomed for trail rides by buggy.
We offer country rides in our various Carriages or Buggies or Hay Wagon depending on how many people have in mind.
