We offer Horseback Trail Riding, Horse Leasing, Basic & Beginners Lessons for Trail, Driving lessons, English & Western coaching/lessons, Horse Boarding , Transportation and much more!
A family business, owned and operated by Gord & Heather Sturm, with sons Wyatt & Coulton. Heather has been involved with horses all her life. Gord started with horses at 20, is a natural horse whisperer. Windsong Horse & Carriage began in 2004. Providing Horse & Carriage services to many events including the Festival of Northern Lights in Owen Sound, parades, weddings, funerals, family celebrations, romantic memory gourmet meal services and much more, all over Ontario.
Gord & Heather enjoy horses very much and are looking forward to mentoring 1st timers, beginners to experienced horse loves to discover what horses really have to offer. Maybe a chance to go 'back' to riding without the responsibility of complete ownership. This is where ‘all-inclusive’ horse leasing began for Windsong Ranch. A non-competitive Ranch for people who enjoy horses! Easy going atmosphere to discover the natural beauty of a horse-human relationship, while enjoying nature and experienced guidance.
In 2010 the NEW barn/arena was created and designed by Gord & Heather, with much consideration, it was decided to make a family business out of expanding the Ranch; the home of Windsong Horse & Carriage. The old bank barn outgrown, improved facilities were in order and sharing a facility with people, like themselves who have a love of horses!
